Triggered Insan is a famous YouTuber from Delhi, India. His real name is Nishchay Malhan. He is well known for his YouTube channel named triggered Insaan. He was born on 14 November 1995 in a Hindu family in Delhi. His father’s name is Vinay Malhan and his mother’s name is Dimple Malhan. He has a younger brother named Abhishek Malhan who is also a popular Indian YouTuber and he has an elder sister named Prerna Malhan and even though she is a YouTuber.

He completed his schooling at Lancer Convent School Delhi and then he got admitted to Indraprasth Institute of Information Technology, Delhi for his higher education and where he completed his bachelor’s in electronic and communication engineering.

After completing his college education he started his career as a Youtuber in 2017 with a YouTube channel name triggered Insaan. Here he uploads roasting, fun videos, Travel vlogs, and lifestyle vlogs. His YouTube channel has more than 15 Million subscribers as of now and each of his videos has about 5 million to 35 million views. Surely he has another YouTube channel called live Insaan. On this YouTube channel, he does live streaming of games and posts various fun entertainment-related videos, he uploads videos of playing random riddle-based games.

Nischay Once Lost His Self Confidence

Nischay Malhan in his teenage years was very timid and introverted. When he was in ninth class, one of his uncles mocked him publicly for his looks at a wedding ceremony and due to this, he lost his self-confidence. Nischay Malhan was suffering from hypogonadism at that time, a hormonal disorder and due to this, he couldn’t develop masculine characteristics like facial hair, etc.

When he was in 11th class, his maths teacher also mocked him for his impression, and due to this, he quit attending school regularly. During that time, in addition to hypogonadism, Nischay was also suffering from being overweight and these conditions made him feel miserable. In his second year of engineering, his roommate Akash assisted him to overpower his grief and he also introduced him to the Dota video game. Later, he began functioning out at a gym and this aided him to lose his excess weight and become fit.

Career Of Nischay

Nischay Malhan began his first YouTube channel named, “Nischay Malhan” on 9 September 2012, in his first year of engineering. Nischay started this YouTube channel to share material about his college projects. At that time, Nischay Malhan didn’t intend to make a career on YouTube. Nischay in his third year of engineering asked his father to buy him a laptop for coding. Malhan bought an Asus gaming laptop worth ₹1 lakh and rather than coding, he used it to play games.

Then, he suddenly had the idea of streaming his gameplay on YouTube. Nischay started the Triggered Insaan YouTube channel on July 17, 2014, at that time he was in his third year of engineering. Nischay’s plan was not to perform in a regular job but to work on YouTube from the ease of his home. During that time, memes were viral on Facebook.

So, Nischay determined to create memes on Facebook and he created a meme page on Facebook by the name, Yes-Yes-Bhai. Though he didn’t get proper engagement for his meme page. Later, Nischay began uploading meme videos on YouTube, and one of his meme videos on a scene in the Dhamaal movie went viral. On June 25, 2017, Nischay created a video on Dhinchak Pooja titled “Modi Ji’s Mann ki Baat on Dhinchak Pooja” and this video of his accumulated popularity. This made his channel grow since then.

How did he decide on the name of the channel?

Initially, he put the channel’s name as ‘Yes Yes Bhai” to it he later turned in Nischay but even then he thought that the name was difficult to type. Then after that, he came across a youtube channel named Triggered Tro which really inspired him so he changed his channel’s name to “Triggered Insaan.”

About His Initial Struggle

In his final year of engineering, Nischay got placed into a company and was offered a package of ₹18 lakh per annum.
He had to do training for 6 months after graduation but he was more eager to work on YouTube. Nischay’s first day at the internship didn’t go well.

He tried to persuade his father to permit him to leave the internship and work full-time on YouTube but at that time as he wasn’t making with YouTube, his father didn’t let him quit his internship. His parents implied that he resume the internship and work on his YouTube channel part-time.

After doing the internship for three months, he quit the internship. As he was earning trim revenue from YouTube, his parents settled with his decision. His father fixed him a deadline of three months and said that if he gains consistent income from YouTube with his prior job, he can continue functioning on YouTube otherwise he ought to find another work. Thankfully, in those three months, his videos got a fair number of views and he earned constant income and became a full-time Youtuber.
