Ozzy Osbourne’s Early Life
Ozzy Osbourne, who was nurtured in a working-class family, departed school at the age of 15 and eventually worked a number of low-wage jobs. He has two younger brothers, Paul and Tony, as well as three older sisters, Jean, Iris, and Gillian. The household was located at 14 Lodge Road in Aston in a modest two-bedroom house.

The Black Sabbath And Bitting Off A Bat’s Skull
Blizzard of Ozz was his first recording, which he completed primarily with the assistance of guitarist Randy Rhoads (1980). It was followed by the equally well-liked Diary of a Madman (1981), which earned upwards of five million copies and was certified multi-platinum in part due to the breakout single “Crazy Train.” On the album tour, Osbourne had a pivotal moment in his career when he bit off the skull of a live bat after mistaking it for a rubber toy that an audience member had thrown him.
The band released Master of Reality just five months after Paranoid. In less than two months, the album received a gold certification and made it to the top ten charts in the US and the UK. It also received platinum certification in the 1980s and went double platinum in the early 21st century.
Ozzy’s Solo Career
With “Mama, I’m Coming Home” from the album No More Tears (1991), Osbourne scored his first solo Top 40 hit. In 1993, he won a Grammy Award for best metal performance for the song “I Don’t Want to Change the World.” Even though he declared his superannuation in 1992, he kept recording throughout the decade.
The Blizzard of Ozz was established by Ozzy Osbourne in late 1979 under the supervision of the Ardens and included the Uriah Heep drummer Lee Kerslake, Rainbow, and later Uriah Heep bassist-lyricist Bob Daisley, Rainbow.
And then Deep Purple keyboardist Don Airey, and guitarist Randy Rhoads (of Quiet Riot). Blizzard of Ozz, the group’s debut album, was eventually given that name by the record label, launching Osbourne’s solo career.
It was co-written by Osbourne with Daisley and Rhoads, and it was a huge success for his debut solo album. Despite the fact that Osbourne and Rhoads are usually acknowledged to have founded the band, Daisley subsequently asserted that he and Osbourne actually launched it in England before Rhoads joined formally.
